This summer is coming quickly to an end. Making plans for band classes this upcoming year has not gone as smoothly as I had planned in my mind. I am sorry for the delays. I am almost completely moved into my house here in Selby now—just another trip…or two to be complete.
I know there are still students entering 5th and 6th grade who would like to participate in band who have not tried out any instruments. I will be at the school starting next week, Tuesday through Thursday, August 5-7, from approximately. 8:00-noon. I can meet with any interested students, try out horns, and answer questions. I would also like to meet with students who have their horns and those still looking for horns to schedule some lesson times before school starts to help pave the way for a smooth transition. I am excited about the upcoming year.
