Sixth Grade Students Recognized for Annual Peace Poster Contest

Our sixth-grade students worked incredibly hard this year creating thoughtful and meaningful artwork for the Annual 6th Grade Peace Poster Contest. The project challenged students to visually interpret this year’s theme, “Together as One,” encouraging unity, cooperation, and community through art.

We are proud to share that Legion Post 100 generously sponsored this year’s contest, awarding prizes to the top three entries.

  • First Place: Isabella Poling$50

  • Second Place: Presley Starks$40

  • Third Place: Rett Russell$30

During art class, Don Knecht, Post Adjutant of Legion Post 100, announced the winners and presented each student with a certificate and their monetary award. It was a special moment for the students and a meaningful recognition of their dedication and creativity.

The posters were judged by Leonard Schroeder, Post Commander, and Don Knecht, Post Adjutant of Legion Post 100. Their time and thoughtful consideration are greatly appreciated.

We are very proud of all our sixth graders for their hard work and artistic effort. A sincere thank you to Legion Post 100 for supporting our students and for helping celebrate the importance of peace, unity, and working together as one.
