The Selby Area School District will transition to a four-day school week beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.
This decision was not made lightly. The School Board and the Four-Day School Week Committee dedicated significant time and effort to researching, discussing, and carefully evaluating numerous factors before reaching this conclusion. We sincerely thank them for their due diligence, thoughtful discussion, and commitment to doing what is best for our district.
After considering all relevant information, this decision was made in the best interest of our school district, our students, and our staff. Our focus remains on maintaining strong academic programs, supporting staff, and providing the best possible educational experience for our students.
