Say hello to our new music teacher, Ms. Allerdings! To get to know Ms. Allerdings better, we interviewed her. Here's what we learned:
What is your name and what do you teach?
- Noelle Allerdings, PreK-12 Music, Band and Choir.
Where did you go to college and what was your degree?
- South Dakota State University (Go Jacks) Bachelors in Music Education
What is your favorite thing about being a teacher?
- Being able to introduce every student to the endless possibilities when it comes to making music.
What are you excited for this year?
- Getting the chance to share my love for music with so many students and becoming a part of such a close and welcoming community.
What do you enjoy doing outside of school?
- I enjoy hunting, fishing, backpacking, and crocheting.
Is there anything else you want us to know about you?
- My favorite grade/subject to teach has to be 5th grade because I am introducing them to concert band instruments for the first time!
- I grew up in New Jersey, but the Midwest has become my forever home.
