This year, Selby Area School has welcomed a new high school social studies teacher, Collin Hilzendeger!
Mr. Hilzendeger went to high school at Aberdeen Roncalli. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History/Social Studies and Secondary Education from University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, and is currently working toward his Master’s degree in Athletic/PE Administration from University of Mary as well. Mr. Hilzendeger’s favorite things to do outside of school are watching Netflix, disc golfing, and playing sports. Also, if you couldn’t tell from the photo, Mr. Hilzendeger is a huge fan of the Vikings. His favorite subjects to teach are U.S. History and World War II. He is a fun and laid back teacher, who is always there to help his students.
