​2021 South Dakota Governor’s Student Art Competition

Easton Schwartz’s received top three in his division for the 2021 South Dakota Governor’s Student Art Competition. His work will be displayed in the Pierre Capitol for a year.

The Governor’s Student Art Exhibition will be open for viewing in the first-floor rotunda of the Capitol through September 2021. The Capitol is open to the public from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 8 a.m.–6 p.m. weekends and holidays.

PIERRE – Gov. Kristi Noem announced 12 students who are being recognized for their artistic talents through the new Governor’s Student Art Competition. An exhibition of the artwork will be displayed in the South Dakota Capitol Building beginning Jan 12.
