The FFA students are fundraising to build a miniature golf course near the city park in Selby. The project is entirely student led, while being overseen by Mrs. Opheim. Local businesses in the community are donating to the golf course, with each business sponsoring a “hole” in the course. This project is teaching students the importance of leadership, problem-solving, and innovation within their community.
“I’m excited about this golf course, because I think that it will be nice for families to have something to do outdoors. It’s been a fun experience to help fundraise something that’s going to benefit our community,” says FFA President Kayla Gill.
