The Wolverines JHBBB team participated in the YTC Tournament last Saturday (1-15-22) in Eureka.
The Wolverines would lose to North Central in their first game, 29-19. Keegan Russell and Tyson Schumacher led a team effort with 4 points each.
Later in the day, the Wolverines defeated Potter County, 46-38. Tryston Kvasnicka led a team effort with 12 points.
The final game of the day was against Sully Buttes. Down 2 points, the Wolverines would defeat the Chargers on a Luke Fiedler 3 point buzzer beater, 43-42. Tryston Kvasnicka led a team effort with 21 points.
There was a three-way tie in this round-robin tournament championship. Herreid-Selby Area, North Central, and Sully Buttes all had 2-1 records on the day. Congratulations to the Wolverines!
