COVID

The Selby Area School District is asking parents/guardians to keep symptomatic students home.  Please do not send your children to school if they are experiencing any COVID or Flu symptoms. This may include nausea, fever, cough, headaches, head or chest congestion.

We ask that you also be cautious with children who have been a close contact with someone who is COVID positive.   Asymptomatic close contacts may come to school and are encouraged to wear masks.  Every family situation is different. We realize that in some homes it is relatively easy to avoid exposure to a COVID-positive individual, but in other homes, it is virtually impossible.

The Selby Area School does not require COVID testing as a condition for a household contact to return to school, but we do have tests available at school for our staff and students.  If a parent/guardian would like their child tested, please contact the school.

Thank you for being considerate of Selby Area School faculty, staff, and students.
