I will attempt to catch you up with what has been happening in the art room. We will start with our Middle School group. At the beginning of the year, they learned all about the Native American Reservations in South Dakota; we specifically focused on their art. Students then created a Native American-themed design inspired by Ledger Art. Debby Walker is a retired art teacher from Mobridge, and she is currently teaching art at Sitting Bull College. She does terrific needle felting art, and she was willing to inspire our students with helpful tips and show us some of her examples.
