Due to the 40mph high winds forecasted for Thursday morning and continued icy conditions, the Selby Area School District will have a 10:00 AM late start on Thursday, November 17th. There will be no pre-school.

The Selby Area School District will start at 10 am on Monday (10.14.22) due to continued icy roads. There will be no preschool on Monday.
Couple Reminders:
National Career and Readiness Certificate test (NCRC) is scheduled for Tuesday Nov 15 starting at 8:30 am. for all seniors. Also, the Senior Financial Aid Night is rescheduled for that night at as well at 7:00 pm in the Senior Room.
Due to the icy road conditions and the early release, the Selby Area School will be CLOSED today.
Due to the shortened week, The Military ASVAB test scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 8 will be postponed to a later date.
Today's Veterans Day Program will be broadcast live on liveticket.tv and Venture Channel 388. Coverage to start at 1:30 PM.
This event is also open to the public. The program will be hosted in the Selby Area Gym.
FB Championship Information
Tuesday (11/8) FB Team Departure - will be escorted out of town by the Sheriff and Fire Department. Community is invited to participate in the escort.

Tickets for the South Dakota High School Football Championships are on sale at GoYotes.com/Tickets. Fans may also purchase over the phone at 605-677-5959 starting on Monday November 7th at 9:00 a.m.

Congratulations to the Wolverines FB team as they will advance to the 9B State Championship game in Vermillion on Thursday, November10th.
School will be dismissed at 1:15 PM on Wednesday (11/9/2022) to accommodate travel to Vermillion.

Elementary Awards Day Announcement
Fall awards for the elementary school will be Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 8:40 AM in the main gym. Super students and perfect attendance awards for the first quarter will be given at that time. The public is invited to attend.
JHGBB Practice will be in Selby on Thursday (11/3/22). Practice will start at 4:15 and conclude around 6:00P PM. The JHGBB Schedule is available on the Selby School App.
